I remember art class in high school everyone had to do at least one stipple drawing . While taking a beginning drawing class in community college we were asked again to do a stipple assignment. Stippling was fun(at least for me) and class drawings always looked good. it just took a bit of time and pressure. Then I went to Art center and nobody used this technique.huh? anyways, I always wanted to try stippling for a silkscreen, in theory it should work like halftone dots.
In other news I will be sharing a table with the awesome Devin Strother and Leo Eguairte this Sunday at the open market in Pasadena. Theres going to be a whole bunch of supercool artists so come on through and invest in some great art! The market takes place on Sunday, October 12 from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in the One Colorado Courtyard and is free and open to the public.
